Pen and Ink
I've been away from my blog for a long time. I've been working hard at school, and on my own time trying to improve my art and myself while settling into my new home/apartment. Busy busy busy busy. Anyway, here is one of my favorite sketches/works of 2013. Enjoy and Happy New Year.

I'm in a.....Show?
One of many reasons I haven't posted anything lately is because I have been getting ready for a show. My life is so busy right now, i have been accepted into a college that I feel is a good fit for me...now time to look for a place to live. If i don't post anything for a long while this is why . Anyway here is the flier for the group show I'm in ......

Mixed media paintings
I have been meaning to post these, but due to their size they are too big for the scanner I have access to. Photographing them was quite the task.
The first one I did in the fall of 2012. Yet again I wanted to challenge myself with a portrait of Steve Buscemi. I learned a lot about fleshy colors on this one, plus Steve Buscemi's face was sooo fun to draw and paint. It was a blast.
I did this piece in the spring of 2011 for a student art show. This was a huge break through in my painting techniques.
